Nokia has squeezed a bit more mileage out of the 8800, with the announcement of the 8800 Sirocco Gold – “encased in a luxurious 18-carat gold plating” and “available in select markets” for an estimated 1000 euro “before taxes or subsidies”.
Apart from the gold it’s the Sirocco mixture as before: scratch-resistant glass display and stunning colour screen, but no 3G, tiny memory and irritatingly small keys. Still, this is a phone to be seen with rather one to actually use …
