Advantage Drive Excellence in Distance Selling

Customers of Advantage Airtime were invited to a seminar at Coombe Abbey last week to celebrate the launch of ACE – The Advantage Club of Excellence.

Hosted by Advantage Group MD John McFarnon and Head of Airtime Debbie Young, guest speakers were invited to guide delegates through the current and projected DPA and Ofcom rules for distance selling. Peter Butler, Head of Dealer & Distribution Channel, Pat Walshe Data Protection & Privacy Officer and Marianne Dammer, Account Manager, ensured that 3 were well represented at the launch day, providing presentations and making themselves available to answer dealer questions.

Debbie Young explained “Since launch in September 2007 Advantage Airtime has successfully worked and pioneered with its preferred patners an enviable reputation for delivering high quality volume customers to Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. With the impact of new legislation it is now appropriate that we move to the next phase of our progress by introducing a specialist level of excellence aimed at those partners who are truly committed to delivering the very best of service and quality to their customers and Hutchison 3G UK Ltd. We have some of the best customers in the business and we wish to support them in remaining at the pinnacle of the industry”

Debbie provided customers with further progress to the reporting suite within Advantage Plus – the company’s on-line connections portal. John joined her in congratulating the first members of ACE by awarding them with certificates, membership cards and goodie bags, followed by the introduction of the first ACE incentive – Casino Royale; a bespoke two day trip to Le Touquet with private plane, extravagant dining, casino and sand yachting.

Debbie Young added “The objectives of ACE are to ensure continued progress and growth whilst maintaining the highest overall standards. In return our customers will receive tangible financial, operational and marketing support that will add true value to their business. Today’s members will start to see substantial benefits; with upfront quality bonuses, weekly connection payments, frequent dealer manager visits, access to tailored marketing and products, invitations to quarterly forums and the chance to join us in France to celebrate!”

The delegates attending appreciated the morning’s detailed presentations which they found informative, positive and beneficial to their businesses. After lunch they enjoyed a mixture of country pursuits; archery, cross bows, rifle shooting, and vehicle control activities: quad bikes, Patriot buggies, plus the christening of a brand new hovercraft!
