77% of Irish drivers are now using mobile phones while only 35% have hands free kits. Over half are sending or receiving text messages while driving. The statistics are from the recently-published second annualsurvey of Irish motorists’ attitudes and behaviour, conducted by the UCD Smurfit Graduate Business School for by FBD Insurance and Advance Pitstop.
