With a break last week for FA Cup games, the scores haven't changed. Maybe time to think about transfers? Here's a few suggestions of who might be worth considering.
Cristiano Ronaldo
Manchester United midfielder Ronaldo is the form player, with an average of 9 points, thanks to 6 goals, 2 assists and 7 bonus points over the last month. Ronaldo is second in the Premier League goalscoring charts with 10 goals, just 2 behind Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. Ronaldo was a substitute against Wigan in Gameweek 20, but still managed to come off the bench and score twice, earning 3 bonus points for his match-winning performance. Ronaldo is at the higher end of the market at 11.2, but is still cheaper than Chelsea's Frank Lampard, who costs 11.7. Ronaldo has also overtaken Lampard as the highest point earning midfielder, and although Lampard has more assists, Ronaldo has more goals and bonus points.

Gilberto Silva
Arsenal midfielder Gilberto has temporarily taken over the captainship from the injured Thierry Henry, and his run as captain has coincided with an unprecedented run of form in front of goal. Gilberto has scored 7 goals so far this season, 5 in the last month, and a goal in the last 3 games. He is second in the midfield form tables behind Ronaldo, and is also only 5 points behind fellow midfielder Cesc Fabregas in the overall points table, and at a cost of 7.5, is considerably cheaper than Fabregas at 9.0.

Obafemi Martins
Newcastle striker Martins has been in a rich vein of recently, having scored 6 goals and 2 assists in the last 6 games, performances which have also earned him 10 bonus points. Martins is now 4th in the strikers overall points table, on the same points as Manchester United's Louis Saha, but at almost 1 million less than Saha, he could be a potential bargain.

Nicolas Anelka
Bolton striker Anelka has also been finding his feet back in the Barclays Premiership, having scored 4 goals and made 2 assists in the last 4 games. He has also received 3 bonus points in the last 2 games he has played for his performances. Anelka has now scored 6 goals for the season, and at a cost of 8.5, is at the cheaper end of the market, so could be a useful addition to a team looking to save cash to spend elsewhere.
