Fantasy Football - Week 3

Week 3 draws to a close with some interesting results. A new leader out of the blue, a new team propping up the bottom, and some brand new teams joining the league. What does this do to the table?

Nishil Patel joined the Mobile Business Magazine league this week (although his team "Ace999" has been playing since week 1) Scoring a massive 68 points to take him to the number one spot.

Special mention must go out to Jamie Coxall's "Good Mornin Mainline". Although he's sitting in last place, this week was his first and he scored an impressive 65 points. One to watch for the coming weeks.

A big welcome must go out to Teresa Warwick who joined this week with team "Never Blue". Unfortunately she joined too late to register a score yet, so we wish her the best of luck for her first week.

Two Managers, Mike Gilmour and Paul Leonard, have both been a bit unhappy with their teams by the look of it. Obviously the 'hair-dryer' treatment in the dressing room didn't do the job so they've brought in new blood, so far making 5 and 6 transfers respectively. I don't think it was the result they were after as both only climbed one place in the league, Mike's AFC Gilmour from 13th to 12th and Paul's Sprint Spurs from 28th to 27th. Must try harder.

Pointing the finger internally now, sees our Print Sales team enjoying life in third from last "We're lulling everyone into a false sense of security" said one member. A likely story.  However, the web boffins are happily progressing into the top 10 but keeping schtum. More than likely down to the fact they're spending half their day working out probablity factors and some other such nonsense rather than working.

Be sure to use the Fantasy Football forum on mbmagazine.co.uk and brag about how well your team might be doing, or if you're looking for advice.

There's still plenty of time to enter a team, click here to find out how.
