Asthma sufferers in London can sign up for free air pollution alerts by SMS, voice-message and email now that the free airTEXT service has been officially launched. The project, funded by ESA Promote in co-operation with 25 London agencies and authorities, provides forecasts for individual London boroughs – rather than the conventional broad-brush approach covering much larger geographical areas.
