O2 is bringing its ‘home zone’ tariff to the UK, offering prepay users eight hours of free mobile calls to landlines and other O2 mobiles from a specified Favourite Place (the user has to text the postcode to O2). In Germany O2 has around 4m subscribers to a similar service.
