Mainline backs a winner

Leading Orange distributor Mainline Digital Communications has given away an iGallop in a competition to mark the reopening of its recently-refurbished hospitality suite at Uttoxeter Racecourse.

The iGallop is an exercise machine that mimics the actions of a horse and helps to tone up thighs and buttocks. The winner - James Denman from The Bottom Line, based in Crewe - received the unusual prize from Mainline marketing manager Stephen Spillett after correctly answering questions that appeared in Mainline's monthly dealer magazine, iSell, and being successful in the subsequent draw.

"We are normally used to helping dealers to keep their businesses in shape. This time we thought we'd give the dealers themselves a hand," says Stephen. "It's a bit of fun and was an ideal prize for a competition linked to a race course." James was delighted with his success but won't be holding onto the prize.

"I think it will make a good present for my girlfriend," he says. The reaction of James' girlfriend to the gift is not on record.
