Map24 Mobile is a mapping service, route planner, and search aid for mobile phones (many but not all) and PDAs – and it’s free.
The software can be downloaded at www.map24.com, and it looks like a reasonable alternative to a GPS-based system – the users needs an internet connection instead, and the application gives access to mapping facilities in the same way as the parent website.
