Mobile Interactive Group, which reckons to be the UK’s fastest growing provider of mobile interactive solutions, has secured a three-year contract with O2 to power mobile services at The O2.
The former Millennium Dome opens this summer with a 23,000-capacity music and sports arena, an 11-screen cinema complex, exhibition and theatre spaces, a live music club and restaurants, cafés and bars. And it will feature a range of mobile services developed by MIG, from freestanding wireless installations to “exciting services direct to the handset”.
Anthony Nelson of MIG observed that “event-based interactive services open up excellent revenue opportunities for venue owners and performers [and] provide consumers with a much richer and more positive brand experience.
“The O2 contract is a hugely significant win for MIG.”
