The European Mobility Awareness Programme (EMAP) is a new imitative led by Vodafone, Sony Ericsson, Microsoft, and technology distributor Ingram Micro.
The programme, which is scheduled to run until the end of 2006, aims to raise awareness of business opportunities in the mobile market such as smart devices, mobile email, and embedded notebooks with integrated SIM cards.
