40% of mobile devices left at airports this summer will never be reclaimed, says a survey from Pointsec Mobile Technologies. Heathrow alone has around five laptops and 10 mobile phones handed in every day, with just 60% being reclaimed – the rest go to local auction houses after 3 months. It seems we’d prefer to claim on the insurance company or let the company provide a replacement.
