Jabra’s BT8010 looks like a new category of Bluetooth headset. It BT8010 offers high-grade mono phone functionality – including a personalised phonebook, caller ID and up to 10 hours talk time – but with the attachment of a second headset, it becomes a high-performance stereo unit enabling the user to switch seamlessly between using their phone and listening to music.
“The number of phones capable of playing music is set to double in the next two years, reaching 700m units worldwide in 2008,” observed Andrew Doyle, Jabra UK Country Manager. “As more people access their favourite tunes via their phone, a convertible headset that will allow you to switch between music and calls will become indispensable.”
