Mio Technology had four new personal navigation devices at CeBIT. Three of them - the C320, C520 and C520t - feature the new 4.3in widescreen display and split-screen view, the entry level C220 retains a standard 3.5in screen.
All four get the latest TeleAtlas maps, MioMap v3 software, free out-of-the-box speed camera alerts, and 20-channel SiRFstarIII GPS receiver. The C220’s SRP is E199, the others range from E349 to e49.

Industry analysts Canalys confirm that Mio Technology has retained its number three position for mobile GPS devices across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for the third consecutive quarter.

Mio Technology’s quarterly sales grew approximately 70% in Q4 2006 over the previous quarter, which gave a two-point increase in market share to 9.3% over the same period in 2005.

According to Canalys, Mio Technology experienced year on year growth of 154% in Q4 2006 for integrated mobile GPS navigation devices.
