The newly arrived 3 network has signalled its intention to appeal to the youth market by extending the download options for audio tracks.
The dual-download service means that any track downloaded to a customer’s mobile handset will also be available to download on to a PC at no extra charge – along with the mobile download, the customer gets a text message with a website address and an access code to download the same music to a computer. Audio downloads cost –2 per song.
3 recently increased the range of downloadable music on offer through partnerships with top record labels EMI Music and Sony BMG.
