Cisco and Motorola are jointly developing a dual-mode mobile phone with built in Wi-Fi wireless networking to provide internet telephony over a company’s wireless data network.
Cisco will provide the network and wireless infrastructure, while Motorola will handle the GSM and mobility aspects. The phones should be available early next year.
