New Slant on a Phone

Nokia have turned a corner and approached handset design from a different angle with their new handset the Nokia 7500 Prism unveiled at a fashion show in China.
 
The 7500 Prism features a 2 mega pixel camera; DVD quality video, support for the mojority of music formats, including MP3 and WMA, FM radio, with 30MB internal storage. The memory is expandable through the Micro SD memory card slot, the handset comes with a 512 mb card.

Measuring 10.9 x 4.4 x 1.4cm and weighing in at 82g the tr-band Prism supports Edge and GPRS, along with Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0.

The handset is available in black with either blue, green, or ruby highlights. The highlights are matched by the colour theme of the OS through the 240 x 320 pixels, 16.7m colour display.

The Nokia 7500 Prism is expected to hit China first in Q3, with no confirmed launch date for Europe.
