Orange has launched a new portfolio of products which includes a home phone service as well as home broadband. Three new packages will provide better value and remove the need for customers to pay another provider for their line rental separately.
It’s the first time Orange have offered fixed-line home telephony to consumers and it means they can choose to have a single provider for all their home communications services.
Orange Home Max will include a landline connection to wireless broadband with an Orange Livebox modem and a home phone service with inclusive calls. Customers will have their landline connection, home phone and broadband services all rolled into one package with a single number for all customer service support, and with digital TV service to be added in later this year.
Orange Home Starter is for customers who want to move over to Orange for their broadband and home phone calls but want to continue paying their current supplier for their line rental.
Orange Home Select is for customers who just want home broadband without the home phone elements.
Customers who sign up to any Pay Monthly mobile contract from 31st October get Orange Home Starter or Orange Home Max for considerably reduced prices.
Eric Abensur, Vice President of Orange Home said: "With the launch of our home phone service and new broadband packages, Orange is now able to serve all of a household's communication needs. What's more, home phone and broadband can all be taken care of with a single bill and one port of call for customer service. There's also no need to pay separate line rental charges."
There is a full marketing campaign to support this launch, including a £5 million spend on TV and print advertising supported by online promotions and direct marketing to people’s homes.
