The family feel and hard working ethic of Yes Telecom has been personified with its recent, held to generate some friendly rivalry in the company and also to thank staff for their ever-efficient hard work.
The Yes Telecom car park was turned into a starting grid as an official F1 Ferrari simulator took pole position for one day just before Christmas. Staff in the Ferrari Challenge Tournament recorded a lap time around a genuine F1 race track after a practice lap with tuition from an expert; the top male drivers was Yes Telecom’s Head of HR, Sacha Medina, and Customer Care Executive Bianca Van Der Merwe took the honours for the women.
Sacha Medina obviously had a good time – “the Ferrari Challenge Day proved exactly why Yes Telecom is not only a leader in the industry, but also why it is a company people are striving to work for.
