The Carphone Warehouse is taking full advantage of the Apple iPhone hype, and is currently taking pre-registrations for the long-awaited handset even though it's not due for release until the end of the year.
Carphone's pre-registration page says "Pre-register your interest to receive an exclusive offer on this handset as soon as it is available".
With the news that Apple are exclusively releasing the iPhone in the States through Cingular, it is expected that Apple will do the same over here and only sign up with one exclusive operator.
Although Carphone aren't giving away anymore details than are already available, their supposed exclusive offer implies that Vodafone won't get Apple's new device as the network spectacularly ditched Carphpone, and an exclusivity deal with Phones 4U for new contract business.
