ROK Entertainment has acquired content development company Fonedream.
Formed in January 2000, Fonedream has grown to become a major mobile content creator and content delivery company with supply agreements into a number of networks including Virgin Mobile, Vodafone Live! and Orange as well as companies such as Jamster and AOL.
“We’d been looking to work with a larger mobile technology innovator for some time and had been watching ROK with increasing admiration over the last couple of years,” said Graham Baines, founder of Fonedream.
“In ROK we have found what we believe to be the perfect fit – a company who understands and can implement original IP in content services and delivery on a global scale.”
Fonedream will become known as ROK Media Ltd with Baines as CEO.
