Samsung i620

Samsung’s new skinny smartphone slider is on it’s way, and looking to usurp Blackberry. Voda says it’s ‘coming soon’, but Expansys can get them to us in two weeks, unlocked.
The new i620 from Samsung could be giving Blackberry a run for their money with its sexy slide-out keyboard. The i620 will be running Windows Mobile 6 Standard, with all the necessary document viewers for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and PDFs all preloaded.

The 3G handset will operate across 900/1800/1900mhz and supports HSDPA for speeds of up to 1.8mbps. It also boasts WiFi, bluetooth A2DP), and a mini-USB.

The main camera on the back is 2megapixels, able to take snaps at 1600×1200, with a VGA on the front for video calling.

The i620 also has all the necessary media functionality, compatible with WMV, MP3s, and MPEGS, which can be viewed on the 320×240 screen.

Vodafone have a page on their website where consumers can register their interest in this handset, but Expansys can get this into your pocket for August 22nd.
