The best we can do: no WiFi, non-standard USB connector, only 65K colours, and no hot-swapping on the memory card. It’s not 3G either, and the camera is only 1.3mp.
Otherwise it’s a winner all the way. the display looks great, build quality is excellent, and the styling and finish are terrific – a lovely non-smearing deep black. And thanks to its slimness (11.5 mm), it is a pleasure to carry the phone in your pocket (and the 95g weight helps there). On board is a fast processor – Intel PXA27x at 420MHz – teamed with 128MB of shared memory. The operating system is Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphone and it has plenty of useful pre-installed applications; ActiveSync is difficult to beat for synchronising with a PC; the web browser and email access are good. Basically, it’s got all it takes to keep a business user’s communication needs satisfied in a 2.5G world.
• Could be the perfect form factor for a QWERTY phone.
