Smith leaves Anglia Telecom

Andrew Smith, CEO of Anglia Telecom, has left the company following a period of extended compassionate leave.
Smith, who has been at Anglia Telecom for three years, has steered the distributor into a solid position where it is now one of a select number in the independent channel to be able to offer all five networks. He also successfully oversaw two Anglia Telecom buyouts – first by Symphony Telecom, more recently by Redstone plc.

Martin Balaam, CEO of Redstone, said: “We’re really sorry to be losing Andrew, as he’s bought so much to the business … We wish him the very best for the future".

Dave McGinn, formerly Sales Director at Anglia Telecom, has been appointed acting MD of Redstone Mobile, which incorporates Anglia Telecom Centres Ltd and Redstone Mobile service provision.
