T-Mobile has introducing a new anti-box-splitting addition t dealer contracts. A trade bulletin spells it out: “T-Mobile is adding a new minimum performance level to your contract which states that a dealer cannot separate a registered, matched SIM and handset, and then sell or give that handset to another customer afterwards.”T-Mobile points out that it measures the usage of matched SIMs and handsets following connection to the network. “If channel partners are found to be splitting a matched SIM from its handset, T-Mobile has the right to investigate and take the necessary action, which may result in the termination of your agreement with T-Mobile”.
