T-Mobile is now offering the award-winning TrafficTV mobile application exclusively on its BlackBerries. Provided TrafficTV is genuinely clever and surprisingly useful for the road user;
it gives you real-time traffic reports 24x7 (sourced from TrafficMaster and covering 8,000 miles of UK roads) but with the addition of relevant CCTV images from the affected areas (from over 500 cameras on the road network) and full interactive roadmaps of the UK. TrafficTV subscriptions cost from around 10p per day; subscribers also get free access to the main TrafficTV website, so they can check the roadmaps and traffic hold-up warnings before they leave home or the office.
