Europeans are way ahead of Americans when it comes to using the mobile web. The comScore Mobile Tracking Study for September shows that 29% of European Internet users (from France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK) regularly access the web from their mobiles.
By comparison, only 19% of Americans use the internet from a cellphone. Among the Europeans, the highest mobile web usage is seen in Germany and Italy (34% for each) followed by France with 28%, Spain with 26% and the UK at 24%.
