Following the announcement in April that Imago Group had been appointed to distribute Barco’s ClickShare wireless presentation system, the company has now extended its distribution agreement in the UK to cover the new Barco Collaborate range, and this agreement also extends into the French market, where Imago Sarl will also be selling both product ranges.
The Barco Collaborate projectors will complement Imago’s existing portfolio of business-oriented audio visual and video communications products. With three models in the range, Barco’s 1-chip DLP® projectors are suitable for use in all presentation settings from small brainstorming rooms through to large boardrooms. Underpinned by Barco’s widely acknowledged high levels of quality, the Collaborate range produce high-quality images with an unmatched level of detail and contrast. Allowing for multi-window sharing, the projectors enable better collaboration and decision-making
“This is a great deal for Imago and one that we are particularly pleased to be announcing,” commented Ian Vickerage, Managing Director at Imago Group plc. “We have experienced a great start to our new relationship with Barco since taking on ClickShare less than two months ago, and we have already beaten our initial targets thanks to the proactivity of our channel partners.
”Our Collaborate range sits naturally alongside ClickShare. Many end customers, across a wide range of segments, are investing in business critical meeting room environments where the quality and ease of use of the AV technology is important,” commented Sid Stanley Channel Director EMEAI at Barco. “The combination of ClickShare to easily switch content and state of the art projectors where the visualization is of the highest quality perfectly meets this market demand. Imago Group has delivered a fast start with ClickShare, I look forward to working with a select group of value added resellers to take the combined solution to market”
The Barco Collaborate range has been launched at Infocomm. Imago will be making the products available to its UK and French channel of specialist resellers with immediate effect.
