2000 registrations recieved for Convergence Summit North!

Ahead of next weeks Convergence Summit North in Manchester over 2000 registrations have been received for what is sure to be the biggest Channel get together in the first half of 2008.

Organiser Miles Bossom said "My marketing team have done a great job in promoting our event and the signs are good for next week. With just over 2000 Channel professionals registered to attend the show we could have our best event to date!" Bossom continued "The northern based reseller community have been very keen to ensure that this event becomes an annual event in the Channel calendar".

Liz Rogers, the events Marketing Manager said "Our campaign has been very successful this year but I want to manage expectations. If we can attract 1000 visitors in line with the 2007 event we will have done well. This is after all a regional event which supports our main event - The Convergence Summit South which takes place at Sandown Park in October. In our experience you can count on attracting an attendance figure which represents half of your total pre registrations - I would be very happy with that".

To conclude Bossom said "Until now no one has bothered to accommodate the needs of the northern based resellers. Comms Business has taken the initiative and I don't believe that resellers can afford to miss this event. We have bought all of the BIG names together for two days of networking in the heart of the North. The saying goes that there is no such thing as a free lunch but that is not the case! Come to The Summit and visitors will not only have the most productive working day of their year but will also be offered free refreshments and a free lunch!
