24 Seven Communications has appointed Vinny Sohanpaul as Reseller Channel Manager, a move which will open up significant new business opportunities for the b2b telecoms provider. His remit centres on building relationships with resellers and creating a channel to drive sales and revenue for 24 Seven, by offering their products and services via 3rd parties.
He arrives with extensive experience in the telecoms market and will work with resellers to help drive sales of 24 Seven’s suite of b2b services, which includes Jump – 24 Seven’s national roaming SIM. Vinny will work towards promoting all the business’s services to a wider market via this new approach.
During a 13-year career in telecommunications, Vinny has developed an extensive knowledge of the business telecoms sector and will use his expertise and contacts to build 24 Seven’s breadth of clients.
On joining 24 Seven, Vinny said: “This is an exciting time for the business, and we have already identified some important priority areas for developing 24 Seven’s services and reach. Demand for coverage and connectivity is growing, and we’re perfectly placed to help businesses enjoy a more joined up approach to telecoms. I’ll be working with resellers to help deliver this message and explain the benefits of 24 Seven’s services. Jump, the national roaming SIM from 24 Seven, has been a really good indicator as to the innovation and ambition of this business and I’m looking forward to contributing to its future success.”
Speaking about the news, David Samuel, founder and MD of 24 Seven said: “The appointment of a reseller specific role was a key strategic priority for this business and will open up significant growth areas. We’re delighted to welcome Vinny to our strong team, he brings valuable experience to the business and I look forward to seeing his input take our company to new ground. The past 12 months have been a whirlwind for this business and this appointment sets us on track to build on the successful launch of Jump, and setting out our stall as a complete business telecoms provider.
Vinny’s role will include placing the Jump SIM card into the reseller market – for the first time allowing third parties to offer a national roaming solution, whereby a phone searches out the network with the best signal.
