2e2 achieves Microsoft Unified Communications Competency Voice Specialization

2e2, a provider of mission-critical IT services, has announced that through the Microsoft Partner Program it has fulfilled the qualifications necessary to achieve Voice specialization within the Microsoft Unified Communications competency.

Earning the Unified Communications competency Voice specialization requires the completion of competency testing and a rigorous technical readiness program that includes specific staffing requirements and an internal deployment of the complete Microsoft Unified Communications offering. Companies who achieve the Unified Communications competency Voice specialization are qualified by Microsoft to deploy Microsoft unified communications technologies such as Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007, including VoIP and audio-, video-, and Web-conferencing.

2e2 is only the third partner in the UK to receive the accreditation of Voice Ready Partner, by demonstrating the specialist skills needed in deploying the Office Communications Server.

“2e2 provides enterprise organizations with cutting edge telephony and unified communications solutions,” said Justyn Waterworth, Microsoft business manager, 2e2. “As a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner who has achieved the Unified Communications competency Voice specialization, our customers are assured they are hiring a qualified vendor to deploy Microsoft’s latest unified communications voice technologies.”

“Companies such as 2e2 that have achieved Voice specialization are trained to understand the potential that exists in Microsoft’s software powered voice technologies,” said Eric Swift, Senior Director of product management for the Unified Communications Group at Microsoft Corp. “In this way they can offer solutions in and outside the realm of traditional telephony, including working with their customers to create more productive business processes through unified communications.”
