Newbury based 2e2 has achieved the Telepresence Advanced Technology Provider (ATP) status from Cisco. This designation recognises 2e2 for having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to deliver the Cisco TelePresence experience.
2e2 is one of two UK resellers appointed by Cisco for Telepresence – the other being Dimension Data – and among around 20 appointed worldwide.
Cisco Telepresence Meeting solution is a new category of products that create live, ‘face-to-face’ meeting experiences over an IP network, empowering users to interact and collaborate in ways they could not before. It combines the reach, intelligence and reliability of the network with the simplicity of a telephone interface to deliver an entirely new way for people to meet and collaborate. Cisco TelePresence Meeting is the first application of Cisco TelePresence technology.
Terry Burt, Chief Executive of 2e2, commented, “We are delighted to have been selected by Cisco as one of the initial go-to-market partners in Europe for its newly launched TelePresence solution. Our broad reach throughout the UK and Netherlands, our reputation for agility and innovation, and our expertise in collaborative technologies leaves us excellently positioned to market this exciting new product and is a great endorsement by Cisco of our market leading status.”
“Cisco TelePresence is an innovative application that changes the entire realm of communications and collaboration,” said Edison Peres, vice president and Chief Go-To-Market Officer for Worldwide Channels. “Our TelePresence ATP partners, such as 2e2, will help Cisco drive the technology across the chasm by delivering the sales, technical and lifecycle services capabilities customers need to successfully deploy the entire solution.”
