3 launches VIP Club

Networks & Network Services
3 has launched its new VIP Club for its top 25 distributors and resellers, aimed at increasing volume through its channels. VIP Club members that attended the launch night in late October included Avenir Telecom, Hugh Symons Communications and Fone Logistics.

The highest performers in the VIP Club will receive VIP Privileges on a quarterly basis, which may include supercars to drive around for employees, exotic holidays and adrenalin sports.

VIP Club has been established following the closure of 3’s Q Club, which pumped incentive cash and prizes into the top performers in the channel to increase the quality of deals that the operator achieved. The Q Club finished around six months ago when the cash pot was dry.

Now that 3 has a good quality base and its strategy is clear, it has created the VIP Club to increase volume, stated Julien Parven, sales and marketing director at Fone Logistics.

Parven commented: “3 is young, vibrant and it believes what turns people on is good living and fun. This initiative is classic 3; it’s what 3 does, and it does it really well. 3 has got challenges and it always has had, but it does the social side of business really well. It’s not a faceless organisation and that creates a lot of good will in the channel.”
