Midlands based broadband bonding specialist VeloComms has launched a range of 3G Mobile Broadband Intelligent Routers with patented ‘Multi-Beam’ antenna technology.
Ideal for backup, hot-spot and mobile broadband applications these devices offer WiFi and Ethernet connectivity for true ‘plug & play’ operation.
‘Multi-Beam’ technology boosts throughput rates up to 2.5 times when compared to a standard 3G Dongle.
In addition 3G coverage is extended by up to 10 times beyond the recognised coverage area improving user data rates. In ‘real-world’ installations download speeds of up 21Mbps and an average of 8Mbps can be achieved where a suitable 3G connection exists.
Indoor and outdoor ruggedised outdoor versions are available. The outdoor version supports PoE (Power over Ethernet) for maximum installation flexibility. The routers support standard 3G SIM’s from all major mobile network providers.
