8×8 has announced key updates to its partner business programme – offering marketing support that includes PR and Fast Track Funding. The extended programme launches with Platinum partner du Pré.
The enhanced programme now gives the channel access to funding, marketing collateral, support and resources and has three different tiers: Accredited, Gold, and Platinum, so it can evolve with partners as their business grows. It builds on the existing 8×8 Academy, a two-day accreditation course that ensures partners have the best tools to understand and sell 8×8’s portfolio of products. This extension of the programme marks the company’s latest commitment to support partners in the industry, with over 85% of 8×8’s UK sales today coming through the channel.
The updated programme launches with Platinum partner du Pré, a UK reseller based in Newbury. The company specialises in voice, data, communications and services.
Structured PR support gives 8×8’s channel partners the opportunity to increase their profile in trade and business media through the development of a PR strategy, advice and content from an 8×8 retained PR agency. The Platinum programme also offers an annual Joint Marketing fund, whereby 8×8 matches investment by partners so both reap the most benefit from it, as well as quarterly Marketing Development funds.
Barry Anns, CEO of du Pré, commented; “It’s fantastic to be the first Platinum partner to take advantage of 8×8’s partner programme. We’ve worked with 8×8 for many years and know they have the skills to support us in years to come. We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship together to grow our two businesses even further.”
Charles Aylwin (pictured) director of channel and public sector at 8×8, says: “Our success is entwined with that of the channel – we want to continue our own rapid expansion and the only way to do that is with our partners. This is why we’ve introduced one of the most innovative partner business programmes in the industry, designed around our partners, so they can continue leading the market. We’re excited to kick off the enhanced programme with our existing channel partners and new businesses who are as passionate about our products as we are.”
