Distributor Micro-P has signed a new agreement with Aastra whereby they will distribute the vendor’s highly successful range of SIP endpoints in to the growing market for SIP enabled devices.
Phil Adams, Head of Communications at Micro-P said, “Aastra’s range of handset solutions mean that the telecoms and IT channels will benefit from additional sales opportunities and greater choice for customers. Aastra is one of only two vendors with Microsoft Lync approved handsets that will self-provision. Their SIP handset range provides powerful call management whilst their SIP-DECT handsets provide true mobility.”
The Aastra 6721ip and 6725ip phones deliver exceptional quality and value while tightly integrating with Microsoft Lync, making them powerful unified communications (UC) devices. These phones can operate independently from a PC so can be easily and widely deployed. The Aastra 6725ip offers the additional benefits of PC connection via USB cable for a tight integration with Microsoft Lync Server 2010: click-to-dial is enriched with presence status ensuring a more efficient call management for business users and team collaboration.
It is anticipated that Micro-P will leverage further sales of the Aastra SIP terminals via their relationship with Outsourcery, a leading provider of cloud based applications and through other hosted telephony providers.
