Aastra Launches Sales Lead Generation Programme

As part of a series of initiatives to support its resellers, Aastra has launched a sales lead generation programme. This programme will assist Aastra’s UK resellers by providing them with quantified sales leads from customers in the SME and Enterprise sectors that are planning to upgrade or replace their communications equipment and software in the immediate future.

To generate sales leads, Aastra has engaged two telemarketing agencies on a three month trial basis. At the end of this trial one agency will be selected to continue working in partnership with Aastra to drive sales leads for Aastra’s resellers in 2012. In addition to generating sales leads the programme will aim to obtain information on prospective customer’s existing communications infrastructure and their future requirements, which could provide further opportunities for Aastra’s resellers.

Leads will be provided for Aastra’s complete portfolio with a solutions sales led approach, although particular emphasis will be on the Aastra 400 and Aastra MX-ONE communication systems. Quantified sales leads will then be forwarded onto Aastra’s resellers on a geographic basis.

Aastra’s sales lead generation programme is the latest in a series of initiatives designed to help resellers, and follows on directly from Aastra’s highly successful upgrade promotion for the award winning Aastra 400 Series of IP Communication Servers. This incentive enabled Aastra resellers to offer their customers attractive incentive packages to upgrade legacy IntelliGate call managers to the new Aastra 400 Series.
