Canadian communications vendor Aastra Technologies Limited has announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2007. Sales for the three months ended March 31, 2007 were $153.3 million compared to sales of $145.7 million for the same period of 2006, an increase of 5.2%.
Sales in the European Enterprise Communication segment increased 6.9% from $120.4 million in the three months ended March 31, 2006 to $128.7 million in the same period of 2007. Sales in this segment were positively impacted by the decline in the Canadian dollar to the Euro and Swiss Franc compared with the first quarter last year.
