Scholaert, an Aastra co-founder, will be responsible for business growth and services in Western Europe (the BeNeLux, Nordic and Baltic countries, France, Italy, and the United Kingdom), the Middle East and Africa.
Derungs will be responsible for business growth and services in Central and Southern Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, the Balkans, Russia, and the rest of Central and South-Eastern Europe).
Following Aastra’s acquisition of Ericsson’s Enterprise Communications Business earlier this year, the company has significantly expanded its presence in EMEA, particularly in emerging markets.
