Aastra Wins HP Technology Award

Aastra has won an HP AllianceONE Partner of the Year Award. The award, for the best technology partner in the networking category, acknowledges Aastra’s IP telephony and UC applications that are fully integrated with HP’s network infrastructure.

The integration of Aastra technology into the HP network enables businesses to benefit from a secure, reliable open-standards-based foundation for Aastra’s Voice over IP (VoIP) and Unified Communications (UC) products. With a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) and easy deployment, the solution allows IT managers to spend less time maintaining the network and more time on delivering strategic business value.

Yves Laliberte, Executive Vice President from Aastra, said, ”Aastra was one of the founding members of the HP Networking specialization within the HP AllianceONE program and since joining, our relationship has gone from strength to strength, with joint wins and satisfied customers across the globe. One of the reasons for our success is that Aastra and HP share many of the same values including the need for open standards and being able to offer a competitive TCO. We are delighted that HP has recognized the value of our relationship by naming Aastra as technology partner of the year in the networking category.”

“To manage the changing demands of their customers, organizations have to accelerate time to market and time to business value,” said Duncan Campbell, vice president, Converged Infrastructure, HP. “HP, with partners like Aastra, helps break down rigid IT silos with infrastructure specifically engineered to drive out cost and provide the foundation for agile service delivery.”
