Abzorb has launched a new service called ‘CapZ’. The new bespoke bill spend management tool – set up within Abzorb’s Partner Portal – helps businesses see, monitor and control their telecommunications spend.
West Yorkshire-based Abzorb, one of the UK’s largest service providers that has direct relationships with three major networks, says CapZ will give partners and their customers peace of mind, that they can prevent “bill shock”.
Abzorb founder, Steve Beeby, said: “CapZ, which is specifically for partners, is an exciting new service from Abzorb that we are proud to say has gone live.
“CapZ puts partners customers in control. Via the Abzorb Portal they can manage customers’ alerts, in line with the new bill spend cap legislation.
“In essence customer usage will be collected in real time and alerts then sent to customers, via text message or email, to let them know when they are nearing their monthly limit.”
He added: “This gives partners and their customers peace of mind that spend and data usage is calculated accurately based on RRP and updated on an hourly basis.
“We are also being very clear about Abzorb’s position in the marketplace. Irrespective of the debate on Ofcom regulation, it’s important we keep the customer updated on end usage. We see this as something that should be a shared responsibility across the industry.”
“We also feel that it is irresponsible for billing providers, who will not bear the burden of financial loss, to try and bypass the regulation and have complacency towards Ofcom.”
Abzorb will be joining Editor David Dungay on the next episode of Comms Business Live where they will be talking about the Mobile Bill Cap regulations and how it will impact the market. You can see that on the 29th October at 3:30pm on the Comms Business website.
Liam Bonthron of DB Group Europe, who recently completed the webinar, said: “Abzorb are always very helpful when it comes to helping with and explaining the new regulations and industry changes”
“The additions to the portal are great, very simple to use and allow different levels of notifications, auto-bar and bill cap to make sure we can meet the varying demands of our customers.”
Abzorb are one of only a small number of Service Providers for Vodafone, O2 and EE which provides telecommunication services direct to B2B as well as through its national network of over 300 Reseller Partners.
