Accedo Broadband launches The Terminator game for IPTV

Accedo Broadband, a casual game provider for IPTV, has announced a three year exclusive licensing deal for the launch of several games, based on the international blockbuster movie The Terminator.

The new games will be added into Accedo’s popular Funspot portfolio of casual games and will be available for Accedo’s customers from Q2 2009. Casual gaming for IPTV appeals to all age groups and The Terminator games will reflect a wide target group interest.

Michael Lantz, CEO of Accedo Broadband, stated: “Adding branded games with exclusive and globally attractive themes is a key element in our game strategy. The Terminator is a globally attractive movie brand, which will add considerable value to Accedo’s distribution partners and customers. We plan to license additional properties and brands in the near future to further expand the quality and range of our game portfolio.”

Studiocanal, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Canal+ Group, owns the licensing rights to The Terminator movie.
