Acision appoints JF Sullivan as CMO

Acision announced the appointment of JF Sullivan, who has joined Acision as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), taking ownership of Acision’s marketing functions, including strategic, corporate and product marketing

In this newly created position, JF will oversee Acision’s marketing strategies, global communications and market development, as well as spearhead a spectrum of programmes that will help to elevate the Acision brand, boost its global market position while strengthening customer engagement and creating increased demand for its products in line with customer requirements and market trends.

Having worked in marketing roles across the IT and telecoms industries for over 20 years, JF has a proven track record in managing marketing teams to deliver ‘go to market’ programmes, creative collateral, lead generation initiatives, channel marketing, as well as web development and enablement. He will now work closely with Acision stakeholders to develop, shape and execute strategic marketing initiatives that fit with the Acision group strategy, while evolving market messages and ensuring these are effectively communicated internally and externally. JF will also help define unique business cases across Acision’s core focus areas of IP Messaging, Enterprise Messaging and Global Services to crystalize new ideas into business value and package these for market.

Prior to Acision, JF held senior marketing roles at a number of mobile and digital-media focused companies, including Cloudmark, Lotus Communications and Netscape Communications. His most recent at role was at eleven, a leading email security service in Germany, where he held the position of VP, Marketing, responsible for the company’s overall marketing strategy and go to market propositions.
