Actimax Team Feels Like a Million Dollars

Million dollar sales have won business communication systems company Actimax the latest in a long line of global awards. The Basildon-based company has been rewarded by two of the world leaders in telecoms systems manufacture – Inter-Tel and Mitel. During 2007 expanding Actimax purchased £1m of equipment from Inter-Tel and have won an award for that.

Then, because Inter-Tel and Mitel merged late last year, Actimax also qualified for a second award for being a $1m “Platinum Plus” partner for Mitel.

The purchases put Actimax among the top 10 of global customers for the merged company which now operates under the Mitel banner.

As Actimax Directors John and Sharon Massey were unable to attend the presentations at a special event in Orlando, Florida, the awards were made at Actimax headquarters in the Yardley Business Park in Luckyn Lane, Basildon by Mitel Southern Region Sales Manager Chris Lee.

John Massey said: “We are very pleased that once again the value of Actimax as a customer has been recognised by such a major company. We are the only company purchasing the excellent products from both the Inter-Tel and Mitel range and that brings many benefits to our customers.”

Mitel’s Chris Lee said: “It was another terrific performance by Actimax, a customer which has been a top performer for us for the past five years. I am confident that will continue throughout 2008.

“Our merger has meant that Mitel offers an extended range and that is a good match for customers such as Actimax.”
