Admiral Voice and Data set to grow with Aastra

Admiral Voice and Data has been awarded Premier partner status for SME products and Certified partner status for enterprise products under the new Aastra channel partner programme. Alongside increased vendor support, Admiral will benefit from access to the full Aastra product portfolio, building on its strong SME customer base and opening up a route to larger enterprise businesses.

UK businesses are increasingly looking to implement communications technology that will enable them to improve working practises and reduce costs and resellers are being called on to help them address this need. Aastra launched its new partner programme in July this year to support its resellers in meeting the changing needs of their customers, as well as to reward their performance and commitment to selling Aastra technology.

“We’ve had a really successful partnership with Aastra over the past decade, and we’re excited about being able to grow that into the enterprise market through the improved partner programme,” said Paul Allen, managing director, Admiral Voice and Data. “We’ve always found Aastra easy to work with; we can just pick up the phone for support from sales through to back office, making life much easier for us.”

Admiral Voice and Data, headquartered in Luton and with a presence in London, Kent, Leeds and Milton Keynes, has a solid telephony business as well as a strong IT and consultancy offering. It has been an Aastra reseller for over 11 years, but until now has focused in the SME market with the Aastra IntelliGate product set. The strong partnership has enabled Admiral to secure customers across local government, education and NHS agencies.

“Customers are increasingly interested in communications platforms that can do analogue to support their legacy technology, but also do IP and Unified Communications. Products that can simply integrate into desktop applications, like Microsoft, are a must as well as products that enable multisite and flexible working. While take up of UC has been slow in the past today’s end user is more sophisticated and aware of technology and the benefits it can bring so we have to ensure we can offer them the best solution,” continued Paul Allen.

“When we launched the new partner programme our aim was to bring together our product lines to help resellers just like Admiral,” said Michael Calvert, General Manager UK and Ireland, Aastra. “We pride ourselves on being accessible to our resellers in terms of offering support when they need it and training so they can get the best out of our solutions, so we’re delighted that the benefits are being so well received by Admiral.”
