Advance with Azlan programme moves to the next phase

Azlan is moving its Advance with Azlan programme, which seeks to help resellers develop their sales and technical capabilities and underpin their efforts to drive profitable growth.

First launched two years ago as part of a pan-European development programme, Advance with Azlan has become a key pillar of Azlan’s reseller engagement strategy in the UK. It acts as a focal point for a range of activities, from targeted vendor education campaigns through to joint marketing and promotional activities that help resellers to develop technical excellence and differentiate their businesses.

As part of the programme, for example, Azlan has helped more than 60 Cisco Registered Partners advance to Cisco Select status over the pasty six months. This enables them to benefit from higher discounts and rebates and active engagement in marketing development funding and other elements of Cisco’s channel programme.

Azlan is now moving Advance with Azlan to the next phase of its development, putting in place new processes to ensure more resellers can benefit and producing additional information and supporting materials that will help resellers to make the most of the different elements of the scheme and all resources available to them from Azlan.

UK Director of Azlan, Andrew Shepperd, comments: “Advance with Azlan is about making the development support and backing that we give to resellers more tangible and more personal. It is all about helping them to build their skills and capabilities and address new categories of the market where there is real growth potential. It is all about taking their business forward.”

Azlan is making a significant new investment in the programme, Shepperd notes, and will continue to innovate and add to the scheme over the next few months. “Our success is dependent on the success of our customers and through Advance with Azlan we can ensure that they have full access to the expertise, account management and support they need to make the most of the tools and resources available to them.”
