Advanced Business Solutions (Advanced) today announces the launch of Advanced Cloud Invoicing, a low cost electronic invoicing solution that is hosted within the Cloud. This solution automates the processing of purchase invoices and because it is fast to deploy and is free for suppliers, common barriers to e-invoicing adoption are removed.
Advanced Cloud Invoicing eliminates the time and costs associated with paper-based invoice processing, including the manual keying-in of invoice data. Unlike most competitive products, Advanced Cloud Invoicing electronically processes and then automatically stores the invoices by using integrated document imaging technology powered by Version One. This allows customers to have instant access to all processed invoices directly from their finance system.

Using Advanced Cloud Invoicing, the supplier sends a text PDF invoice to a designated email address. The PDF invoice is automatically detached from the email and all the invoice data is extracted. This data is then converted into an eInvoice that the customer’s finance system can interpret and validate.
The validated eInvoice data is automatically loaded to the finance system’s invoice register whilst at the same time, a copy of the original PDF invoice is stored in the central electronic archive. All stored invoices are linked to the relevant transaction records in the invoice register. These can be instantly retrieved directly from the finance system.
