Akixi announces new growth investment

Call analytics software provider Akixi has announced a growth investment from Axiom Equity, a B2B SaaS investor, and True North Advisory.

Axiom Equity is leading the investment, with True North Advisory joining as strategic partners. True North Advisory’s partners include Mike Tessler and Scott Hoffpauir, the founders and former management team of BroadSoft, Inc.

The investment will be used to further support Akixi’s international expansion and product innovation.

Founded in 2008, Akixi provides businesses with a cloud-based analytics platform helping companies transform how they track and understand their business communications. It has since grown rapidly across both the UK and US.

Craig Decker, who previously led BroadSoft in EMEA and subsequently led the Cisco Worldwide Cloud and Hosted Group following Cisco’s $2bn acquisition of BroadSoft in 2018, joins Akixi as chief executive officer. Decker will drive and deliver on the company’s global expansion plans. He commented: Akixi has seen impressive growth over recent years, and I’m hugely excited to be leading the team which will collectively implement the company’s growth strategy as we embark on the next chapter for Akixi.”

Axiom Equity was advised by PWC (M&A), CIL and Cavell (commercial due diligence), James Cowper Kreston (financial) and Ashurst (legal & tax).

Akixi was advised by Q Advisors (M&A), Parisi Tax (tax) and KPMG (legal).
