Alliot Technologies has been awarded the Cyber Essentials certification. The Government-led assessment strategy confirms Alliot’s systems comply with essential cyber security controls.
Launched in 2014, the scheme covers five control categories which cover the most prominent cyber risks organisations face including: firewall security, secure configuration, user access control, malware protection and ensuring all devices, operating systems and software are kept up to date.
Commenting on obtaining the certification, Alliot’s Technical Director, Paul Hayes said, “We take every step we can to ensure our data and our customers’ data is protected. Cyber Security is incredibly important in IoT through this certification Alliot Partners can ascertain we use safe, secure procedures throughout our company.
“The certification will enable us to open up our business to a wider audience and we look forward to forging new relationships and supporting the growth of IoT in these areas.”
