Alliot Technologies to distribute MultiTech gateways

Specialist European IoT distributor Alliot Technologies has announced a new partnership with MultiTech. This new agreement sees Alliot expand its LoRaWAN gateway range throughout the UK and Ireland.

Commenting on their new official distributor status, Alliot’s product development director, Paul Hayes said, “MultiTech are well renowned for their work within the LoRaWAN industry, we are incredibly excited to be working with such a well-established brand.

“As specialists in LoRaWAN technologies and edge-computing, the MultiTech LoRaWAN gateway range ticks all of the boxes. We hope that this addition to our portfolio will help to bring even more IoT projects to life.”

Neil Carey, regional sales director at MultiTech, added, “We look forward to working with Alliot to extend the reach of MultiTech products to new markets and use cases. By adding Alliot to our distribution channel, we can better enable customers adopting the latest LPWA technologies with expanded local expertise.”

LoRaWAN is a low-power wide-area network. The protocol was developed by Semtech and can support a range of IoT use cases in various industries.
